Let’s Talk About WOW Watersports 18-1130 Wild Wing Series Towables 3 Person Rider
The WOW Watersports 18-1130 Wild Wing Series Towables 3 Person Rider promises a high-octane experience on the water, blending the fun of a towable tube with enhanced performance features. Marketed by WOW Watersports, this towable aims to deliver a more thrilling and stable ride compared to traditional flat-bottom tubes, accommodating up to three riders for shared excitement. I’ve spent years on the water, rigging boats for tactical operations and enjoying recreational water sports, so when I saw the Wild Wing’s unique design and performance claims, I knew I had to try it out.
My kids had outgrown our old towable, constantly complaining about sliding off during turns. I needed something that could handle more aggressive maneuvers and keep them safely in place. The WOW Watersports 18-1130 Wild Wing Series Towables 3 Person Rider’s promise of a U-shaped winged body, slotted deck seating, and front/back towing options seemed like the perfect solution.
Unboxing the Wild Wing, my initial impression was of robust construction and thoughtful design. The heavy-duty nylon cover felt durable, and the handles seemed strategically placed for a secure grip. The included EZ Tow Connector was a welcome addition, promising a hassle-free setup.
Compared to other three-person towables I’ve used, the Wild Wing immediately stood out due to its winged shape. Most others have a simple donut or rectangular design. This difference suggested superior stability and maneuverability, setting it apart from less ambitious options.
I was excited to put it to the test. The design felt well-thought-out, and I couldn’t wait to see if it lived up to the claims of a more exciting and controlled ride.
