Voodoo Tactical Vietnam Veteran Combo Patch Set Review

Let’s Talk About Voodoo Tactical Vietnam Veteran Combo Patch Set

Patches are more than just decoration; they’re a statement, a badge of honor, a silent way to broadcast your affiliations, experiences, and even your personality. The Voodoo Tactical Vietnam Veteran Combo Patch Set offers a simple, yet powerful, way to acknowledge and honor those who served in the Vietnam War. Voodoo Tactical aims to provide durable, morale-boosting patches at an accessible price point.

I’ve always appreciated the subtle nods of respect and camaraderie within the veteran community. As someone who values well-made tactical gear and respects those who have served, the Voodoo Tactical Vietnam Veteran Combo Patch Set caught my eye. The low price made it an easy impulse purchase.

Upon receiving the patches, I was immediately drawn to the clarity of the embroidery and the feel of the rubberized coating. The foam backing gave them a reassuring sturdiness, a departure from some of the flimsier patches I’ve encountered. These felt well-made for the price.

While there are countless Vietnam Veteran patches available online, I chose the Voodoo Tactical Vietnam Veteran Combo Patch Set because of its straightforward design and the fact that it came as a set of two different, but related, designs. Competing patches from Condor and Rothco were similarly priced, but didn’t offer the same visual appeal to me, or the combo offering. The Voodoo Tactical offering seemed a solid value.

My initial reaction was positive. The patches looked exactly as advertised, and the quality appeared to be above what I expected for such an affordable set. I was eager to see how they would hold up on my range bag and tactical vest.

Real-World Testing: Putting Voodoo Tactical Vietnam Veteran Combo Patch Set to the Test

First Use Experience

I tested the Voodoo Tactical Vietnam Veteran Combo Patch Set by attaching one patch to my range bag and the other to the loop field on my tactical vest. These items accompany me on weekly trips to the outdoor shooting range. I exposed the patches to direct sunlight, occasional light rain, and the general wear and tear of being transported in my truck.

The patches were easy to attach, thanks to the hook-and-loop backing. They stayed firmly in place, even during some rough handling of the gear. No loose threads or signs of detachment after the initial outing.

I found the patches to be perfect for honoring the Vietnam Veterans at our range. They sparked some great conversations too.

Extended Use & Reliability

After several months of consistent use, the Voodoo Tactical Vietnam Veteran Combo Patch Set has proven surprisingly durable. The colors haven’t faded noticeably, and the rubberized coating has prevented fraying or unraveling. The hook-and-loop backing remains strong, providing a secure attachment.

There are no visible signs of significant wear and tear. The patches have maintained their shape and visual appeal, even after repeated exposure to the elements. The soft rubber (TPR) coating seems to be doing its job very well.

Maintenance has been minimal; a quick wipe with a damp cloth is all that’s needed to remove dust or dirt. Considering my past experiences with patches that quickly degrade, the Voodoo Tactical Vietnam Veteran Combo Patch Set has exceeded my expectations.
