Let’s Dive into Voodoo Tactical Deluxe Padded Weapons Case
The Voodoo Tactical Deluxe Padded Weapons Case is more than just a bag; it’s a mobile armory designed to securely transport your valuable firearms. Crafted by Voodoo Tactical, this case promises to house two rifles, two pistols, and a plethora of magazines, all while offering padded protection and organizational features.
My old hard plastic rifle case was taking up way too much room in my vehicle, and it was always a pain to carry for any distance. I needed a solution that offered better portability and organization, without sacrificing the security I demanded for my firearms.
Upon receiving the Voodoo Tactical Deluxe Padded Weapons Case, I was immediately impressed by the ruggedness of the material. The heavy-duty pack cloth felt like it could withstand serious abuse, and the stitching appeared to be top-notch.
I considered the Savior Equipment American Classic Double Rifle Bag and the Case Club AR-15 Rifle Case, but the Voodoo Tactical offered a compelling balance of capacity, features, and price. The Savior Equipment bag lacked the dedicated pistol compartments, while the Case Club, while robust, was overkill for my needs and too bulky.
My initial impression was one of cautious optimism. The bag seemed smaller than I anticipated, but the organizational features were promising; I was eager to load it up and see how it performed in the field.
Real-World Testing: Putting Voodoo Tactical Deluxe Padded Weapons Case to the Test
First Use Experience
I first tested the Voodoo Tactical Deluxe Padded Weapons Case at my local shooting range. I loaded it with my AR-15, a 9mm pistol, several magazines for each, and all my usual range gear.
The case performed admirably in the sunny, slightly dusty conditions of the range; the padded compartments kept my firearms secure and prevented them from banging against each other. I found the adjustable shoulder strap to be comfortable even when the case was fully loaded, and the external cinch straps helped to compress the load and prevent shifting.
The only initial issue I encountered was with the magazine pouches; I had to remove the ranger plates from my 30-round AR magazines to get them to fit comfortably. This wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it was something to note.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several months of regular use, the Voodoo Tactical Deluxe Padded Weapons Case has held up remarkably well. There are no signs of significant wear and tear, despite being thrown in and out of my truck, dragged across gravel, and exposed to the elements.
Cleaning the case is simple; a damp cloth and a mild detergent are all that’s needed to remove dirt and grime. The heavy-duty pack cloth seems to be stain-resistant, which is a definite plus.
Compared to my old hard case, the Voodoo Tactical Deluxe Padded Weapons Case is a game-changer. It’s far more comfortable to carry, offers better organization, and takes up significantly less space.
