First Impressions of Umarex UX Notos Rotary Airgun Magazine .22 Cal 7/rd C0375192

The Umarex UX Notos Rotary Airgun Magazine .22 Cal 7/rd C0375192 is a vital accessory for anyone using the Umarex Notos CRK airgun, turning it from a single-shot platform into a repeater. This little magazine promises to enhance the shooting experience by offering faster follow-up shots.

As an experienced outdoor and tactical gear specialist, I am always looking for ways to improve my shooting efficiency, and this magazine seemed like the perfect solution. I had been painstakingly loading pellets one at a time with the single-shot tray, and the thought of a quick follow-up shot for pest control or target practice was extremely appealing. The promise of easy loading and reliable feeding intrigued me.

Upon receiving the magazine, the first thing I noticed was its compact size. It felt sturdy enough for being made of polymer. Compared to other rotary magazines I’ve used, such as those for some .22LR rifles, this one felt surprisingly lightweight. I chose this magazine specifically because I needed to speed up my shooting with the Notos. Alternatives felt clunkier or were not explicitly designed for this airgun. I was cautiously optimistic.

Real-World Testing: Putting Umarex UX Notos Rotary Airgun Magazine .22 Cal 7/rd C0375192 to the Test

First Use Experience

My initial testing ground for the Umarex UX Notos Rotary Airgun Magazine .22 Cal 7/rd C0375192 was my backyard range. I mostly do pest control for squirrels and starlings. The weather was clear and mild, a typical spring day in my area.

Loading the magazine was surprisingly easy; pellets seated firmly into each chamber. I immediately noticed the improvement in speed as I quickly fired off seven rounds. Initially, it worked flawlessly, cycling smoothly and accurately. I did have one instance where a pellet didn’t fully seat when loading, causing a slight jam, but this was easily resolved by manually rotating the magazine.

Extended Use & Reliability

After several weeks of consistent use, the Umarex UX Notos Rotary Airgun Magazine .22 Cal 7/rd C0375192 continues to perform adequately. There is minimal wear and tear despite frequent loading and unloading. Cleaning is straightforward; I typically wipe it down with a dry cloth to remove any pellet residue.

Compared to other magazines I’ve used in the past, this one is on par. I can say that it isn’t as robust as metal alternatives, but it still offers decent performance, especially considering the price point. The occasional misfeed or jam is more frequent now, especially with slightly deformed pellets.
