First Impressions of Trophy Treestands Trophy Swivel Chair
The Trophy Treestands Trophy Swivel Chair promises comfort and stability for long hours in the field, a crucial aspect for any serious hunter. This chair, made by Trophy Treestands, boasts a swivel function, foldable design, and steel construction, all hinting at a reliable and portable hunting companion.
Like many seasoned hunters, I’ve suffered through uncomfortable sits, shifting weight constantly and sacrificing valuable focus. I needed a chair that would provide support, freedom of movement, and quiet operation without breaking the bank or my back while transporting it.
Upon unboxing, the chair felt solid; the steel frame inspired confidence, and the padded armrests looked inviting. Its all-black design is understated and practical, blending seamlessly into any hunting environment.
Compared to cheaper, tripod-style stools I’ve used in the past, the Trophy Treestands Trophy Swivel Chair seemed like a significant upgrade. Unlike those flimsy models and even against higher-priced, bulkier options from Millennium, its promise of portability and comfort was compelling. I was cautiously optimistic.
First impressions were good – the build felt sturdy, and the features were well-considered, although the true test would come in the field.
Real-World Testing: Putting Trophy Treestands Trophy Swivel Chair to the Test
First Use Experience
I first put the Trophy Treestands Trophy Swivel Chair to the test during a week-long deer hunt in the rugged hills of Pennsylvania. The terrain was uneven, and the weather fluctuated between chilly mornings and surprisingly warm afternoons.
The chair performed admirably. The swivel function proved invaluable, allowing me to scan my surroundings silently and efficiently without jerky movements that could spook game. Setup was a breeze, and the seat height was comfortable for long periods of observation.
One minor issue arose during a particularly wet morning: the steel frame became a bit slippery. However, this was easily remedied by adjusting my positioning and ensuring solid footing.
Extended Use & Reliability
After a full season of hunting and scouting, the Trophy Treestands Trophy Swivel Chair has held up remarkably well. There are no signs of significant wear and tear on the steel frame or the padding.
Cleaning is straightforward: a simple wipe-down with a damp cloth removes most dirt and grime. The chair has become an indispensable part of my hunting kit.
Compared to previous chairs that have either broken down or become unbearably uncomfortable after a few hours, the Trophy Treestands Trophy Swivel Chair is a clear winner. It’s now my go-to choice for any hunt requiring extended periods of sitting.
