The Streamlight Stylus LED Penlight, Black w/White LED – 1 out of 7 models is a sleek, ultra-slim penlight designed for tactical use, covert operations, and everyday carry. Manufactured by Streamlight, a name synonymous with quality and reliability in the lighting industry, this penlight boasts a high-intensity LED with a lifespan of 100,000 hours. Its compact size, durable construction, and momentary/constant-on switch make it a valuable tool for professionals and everyday users alike.
I initially sought out the Streamlight Stylus LED Penlight to replace a bulkier tactical flashlight I carried daily. I needed something discreet for close-quarters inspections and paperwork in low-light conditions.
Upon unboxing, the Streamlight Stylus LED Penlight felt immediately robust despite its slender profile. The knurled aluminum casing provided a secure grip, and the included pocket clip promised convenient carry. Its sleek, black anodized finish gave it a professional appearance.
I considered the SureFire Pen II and the Olight I3E EOS before settling on the Streamlight Stylus. While the SureFire boasted slightly higher lumen output, the Streamlight’s lower price point and readily available AAAA batteries made it more appealing. The Olight was smaller, but I questioned its durability compared to the Streamlight’s machined aluminum construction.
My first impression was overwhelmingly positive. The Streamlight Stylus LED Penlight exceeded my expectations in terms of build quality and portability. I was excited to test its performance in real-world scenarios.
