The Stanislawski Stan OnneX Clicker Thumb Release 1501646 promises a revolution in archery accuracy and consistency. Stanislawski, a name synonymous with precision and innovation in the archery world, has partnered with Shot IQ’s Joel Turner to blend a thumb-button release with the benefits of a clicker system. This combination supposedly helps archers calm their aiming and shooting process, leading to tighter groupings and higher scores.
I’ve been plagued by target panic for years, a common affliction in the archery world where the archer anticipates the shot and punches the trigger. I was searching for a release aid that could help me break this cycle and achieve a smoother, more controlled release. The OnneX Clicker’s promise of incorporating Shot IQ techniques seemed like a potential solution to my struggles.
My first impression upon unboxing was the Stanislawski Stan OnneX Clicker Thumb Release 1501646’s solid construction and heft. The heavy brass frame felt substantial and well-made, lending an air of quality and precision. Compared to my previous lightweight aluminum releases, this felt like a serious piece of equipment.
I considered the TRU Ball Blade Pro and the Carter Evolution+ before settling on the OnneX Clicker. The TRU Ball Blade Pro had excellent adjustability, but I wasn’t fully convinced it would solve my target panic. The Carter Evolution+ had a similar concept but lacked the clicker feature that intrigued me about the Stanislawski Stan OnneX Clicker Thumb Release 1501646.
My initial reaction was one of cautious optimism. I was excited about the potential of the clicker system to improve my shot execution, but also aware that it would require a significant adjustment to my shooting form. I was eager to see if this release aid could truly live up to its promises.
