The Spot-hogg Spot Hogg Bow Sight Fast Eddie Double Pin W/mrt .019″ Pin Rh is a high-end bow sight designed for serious archers who demand precision and adjustability in their aiming system. Crafted by Spot-Hogg, a renowned name in archery equipment, this sight features a double-pin configuration with their innovative MRT (Multi-Ring Technology) pin guard, aiming to simplify aiming while providing accuracy at varying distances. Its robust 6061 aluminum construction promises durability, making it suitable for the rigors of both target archery and bow hunting.
I’ve been bowhunting for over a decade, and consistently struggled with quick target acquisition in low-light conditions and varying distances. Traditional multi-pin sights often cluttered my view, especially when a deer popped out unexpectedly at an odd yardage. The promise of faster aiming and clarity with the Spot-hogg Spot Hogg Bow Sight Fast Eddie Double Pin W/mrt .019″ Pin Rh is what truly drew me in.
The unboxing experience was impressive, revealing a sight that felt incredibly solid and well-machined. Its weight conveyed a sense of quality without being cumbersome, and the black finish exuded a tactical, no-nonsense aesthetic. The MRT pin guard immediately caught my eye, promising improved visibility in diverse lighting.
Compared to my previous Trophy Ridge React One Pro and a Black Gold Ascent Verdict, the Spot-Hogg Fast Eddie Double Pin stood out because of its simplicity and the intuitive MRT system. While the others offered more pins and micro-adjustments for each, I felt they were overly complex for my hunting style. The Spot-hogg Spot Hogg Bow Sight Fast Eddie Double Pin W/mrt .019″ Pin Rh seemed like a more streamlined, practical choice.
My first impression was one of excited anticipation, tempered with a slight concern about adapting to a two-pin system after years of using multi-pin sights. However, the build quality and innovative design of the Spot-hogg Spot Hogg Bow Sight Fast Eddie Double Pin W/mrt .019″ Pin Rh gave me confidence that it could significantly improve my archery game.
