As a seasoned tactical gear specialist, I’ve seen countless holsters come and go. My biggest need was a reliable, secure, and fast draw holster for my CZ P10F with a weapon light and red dot. The Safariland name and its promise of a secure ALS system immediately piqued my interest.
Unboxing the Safariland Model 7378rds 7ts Als Concealment Paddle & Belt Loop Combo Holster For Cz P10f W/ Light 7378RDS-49219-551, I was immediately struck by its robust construction. The Safariseven material felt incredibly durable and surprisingly lightweight. The paddle and belt loop attachments looked solid and well-designed, hinting at versatility.
I considered a few other holsters, like the Blackhawk Omnivore and some custom Kydex options. However, the Safariland stood out due to its specific design for my CZ P10F with light, promising a perfect fit and the added security of ALS. The Blackhawk’s universal fit felt less secure by comparison.

Real-World Testing: Putting Safariland Model 7378rds 7ts Als Concealment Paddle & Belt Loop Combo Holster For Cz P10f W/ Light 7378RDS-49219-551 to the Test
First Use Experience
My initial testing ground for the Safariland Model 7378rds 7ts Als Concealment Paddle & Belt Loop Combo Holster For Cz P10f W/ Light 7378RDS-49219-551 was at my local shooting range, followed by some dry-fire practice at home. I focused on drawing and reholstering drills to familiarize myself with the ALS system. The holster performed admirably in varied conditions, from the dry indoor range to a slightly damp outdoor environment during a training session.
The draw stroke was surprisingly smooth and intuitive once I got accustomed to the ALS release. Reholstering was positive and secure. It took a little practice to master the thumb release while maintaining a proper grip, but it soon became second nature.
The only initial issue I encountered was the tightness of the initial fit. The weapon light caused a very snug fit at first, needing a little break-in period. After about a week of practice, the fit became comfortable yet remained secure.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several weeks of continuous use in both training and everyday carry, the Safariland Model 7378rds 7ts Als Concealment Paddle & Belt Loop Combo Holster For Cz P10f W/ Light 7378RDS-49219-551 has proven to be a reliable and durable piece of equipment. There are minimal signs of wear and tear on the Safariseven material, even after being exposed to sweat, rain, and the occasional bump against furniture. The holster has maintained its integrity despite rigorous use.
Maintenance is incredibly simple, requiring only an occasional wipe-down with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. The ALS mechanism still functions smoothly without any lubrication. This performance definitely exceeds my expectations given its construction.
In comparison to previous concealment holsters I’ve used, the Safariland stands out in terms of retention and durability. Many Kydex holsters I’ve used have cracked or loosened over time. This Safariland model feels like it will endure for years.
