RV Designer Soft Grab Handle With Black Handle, 18in Review

Let’s Dive into RV Designer Soft Grab Handle With Black Handle, 18in

The RV Designer Soft Grab Handle With Black Handle, 18in is designed to provide extra support when entering or exiting your RV. RV Designer aims to offer an easy and safe option to assist users, and this handle promises a comfortable grip and durable construction. This particular model features a black handle against a white base and spans 18 inches, a common size for RV entry points.

My need for a reliable grab handle stemmed from a recurring issue my aging father faced while entering our family RV. The existing handle was too thin and offered inadequate grip, leading to several near-falls, especially in wet conditions. I wanted a handle that was easier to grasp, sturdier, and improved safety for all users.

Upon unboxing the RV Designer Soft Grab Handle With Black Handle, 18in, I immediately noticed the substantial feel and the molded finger grips. The handle seemed well-made, with a good balance between rigidity and slight give, suggesting a comfortable yet secure grip. The plastic construction, while not luxurious, appeared durable enough to withstand outdoor elements.

I considered a few alternatives, including a metal grab handle with a rubberized grip from Camco and a folding assist handle from Stromberg Carlson. I ultimately chose the RV Designer Soft Grab Handle With Black Handle, 18in because it offered what seemed to be the best compromise between comfort, durability, and ease of installation. Its simple, straightforward design appealed to me more than the more elaborate folding models.

My first impression was positive and hopeful. The handle looked and felt like a significant upgrade and promised a safer, more comfortable entry into our RV. I was excited to install it and see how it performed in real-world scenarios.
