Real-World Testing: Putting Real Avid Gun Boss AK-47 Cleaning Kit to the Test

First Use Experience

My initial testing ground was the very same trench where I’d first encountered the need for this kit. Conditions were, as usual, less than ideal: mud, rain, and the ever-present grit of a warzone. The Real Avid Gun Boss AK-47 Cleaning Kit allowed for quick and efficient cleaning of the rifle.

The compact design allowed for easy cleaning in cramped spaces, and the dedicated AK-47 scraper proved invaluable in removing stubborn carbon deposits from the bolt and piston. The gas port scraper integrated into the drift pin punch was another clever touch that saved space and time. No special learning curve was needed, the tools were intuitive and worked as expected.

Extended Use & Reliability

After several months of rigorous use in the field, the Real Avid Gun Boss AK-47 Cleaning Kit has held up admirably. The tools show minimal wear and tear, even after repeated use in harsh conditions. Cleaning and maintaining the kit itself is straightforward: a quick wipe down of the tools and case is all that’s required.

Compared to the assortment of generic cleaning tools I’ve used in the past, this kit provides a far more effective and targeted solution for maintaining an AK-47 in the field. It has consistently outperformed my expectations, becoming an essential part of my kit.
