Primary Arms Classic Deluxe Extended AR-15 Scope – 1 out of 9 models Review

Let’s Talk About Primary Arms Classic Deluxe Extended AR-15 Scope – 1 out of 9 models

The Primary Arms Classic Deluxe Extended AR-15 Scope – 1 out of 9 models offers a robust and affordable solution for mounting 1-inch tube optics on AR-15 platforms. Designed with an extended configuration, it caters specifically to shooters favoring a “nose to charging handle” stance, enhancing eye relief adjustability. This mount promises durability and a secure platform for variable power optics, making it a contender in the crowded AR-15 accessory market.

I was seeking a reliable scope mount that wouldn’t break the bank, yet provided the necessary eye relief for my preferred shooting style. The extended design of the Primary Arms mount immediately caught my attention, promising to address the often-challenging task of achieving proper eye relief with certain optic setups on AR-15s. Upon unboxing, the mount felt solid, constructed from what appeared to be quality aluminum with a matte black anodized finish, providing a clean and durable aesthetic. The included hardware felt robust, and the overall build inspired confidence.

Compared to other mounts I’ve used, such as the Aero Precision Ultralight or the Vortex Cantilever Mount, the Primary Arms model appeared less focused on weight reduction and more on maximizing adjustability and strength. While those mounts prioritize lightweight construction, the Primary Arms mount seemed geared towards handling heavier optics and providing a more forgiving eye relief window. My initial excitement stemmed from the potential to finally dial in the perfect scope position without sacrificing the rock-solid stability I demand from my AR-15 accessories.
