Precision Reflex Remington 700 S.A. Military 6in Steel Base Review

Let’s Talk About Precision Reflex Remington 700 S.A. Military 6in Steel Base

The Precision Reflex Remington 700 S.A. Military 6in Steel Base promises a solid, reliable platform for mounting optics on Remington 700 short action rifles. This base is designed with military specifications in mind, offering a robust and durable solution for tactical and precision shooting applications.

I was constantly running out of rail space on my Remington 700. Mounting night vision and a day optic became an exercise in compromise. My old scope base was simply too short.

Upon unboxing the Precision Reflex base, I immediately noticed the heft and the parkerized finish. It feels like a serious piece of kit, purpose-built to withstand hard use. The build quality looks immaculate.

Compared to a lightweight aluminum base I had previously, the Precision Reflex steel base is significantly heavier, but also feels substantially more rigid. I considered a similar length base from Seekins Precision, but the Precision Reflex base’s reputation for durability and compatibility with Mil-Spec accessories swayed my decision.

My initial impression is overwhelmingly positive. The Precision Reflex Remington 700 S.A. Military 6in Steel Base looks and feels like a premium upgrade. I anticipate a significant improvement in mounting flexibility and overall stability.
