10177432 26% Off promises match-grade accuracy in a readily available, affordable package. As someone who spends a significant amount of time at the range and also hunts with a .308, I’m always on the lookout for consistent, reliable ammunition. My hope is that this Norma offering can deliver both.
I needed ammunition that could consistently produce tight groupings at 100-300 yards for both target practice and potential hunting scenarios. The Norma Golden Target seemed to fit the bill based on its description and reputation. I was particularly drawn to the Boat Tail Hollow Point (BTHP) design, which is known for its improved ballistic coefficient and potential for enhanced accuracy at longer ranges.
Upon receiving the ammunition, the first thing I noticed was the clean, bright brass casing. The rounds were neatly organized in the box, and the Boat Tail Hollow Point bullets looked consistently formed. Compared to some bulk ammunition I’ve used in the past, the Norma rounds exuded a sense of quality and attention to detail.
I considered other options like Federal Gold Medal Match and Hornady Match ammunition. However, the Norma Golden Target was available at a more attractive price point, especially with the 26% discount. My initial thought was that if the performance matched the price, I’d have a winner.
