Let’s Talk About Muddy Blind Infinity 2 Man Pop-up Tru-view Windows
The Muddy Blind Infinity 2 Man Pop-up Tru-view Windows offers hunters a portable and customizable concealment solution. Muddy aims to provide optimal visibility and concealment, boasting features like shadow mesh windows and silent adjustments.
I was looking for a ground blind that provided both excellent concealment and a wide field of view for bow hunting. The promise of customized window configurations and one-way shadow mesh is what initially piqued my interest in this blind.
Upon unboxing, the Muddy Blind Infinity 2 Man Pop-up Tru-view Windows felt surprisingly lightweight, a pleasant surprise for a two-person blind. The material seemed durable enough, and the frame appeared sturdy, though I’d need to test it in windy conditions to be sure.
Compared to other blinds I’ve used, like the Ameristep Doghouse and the Primos Double Bull, the Muddy Blind Infinity 2 Man Pop-up Tru-view Windows stood out due to its window design. I was intrigued by the potential for creating a panoramic view while remaining hidden, something lacking in my other, more basic blinds.
My first impression was cautiously optimistic; I was excited to test the Tru-view windows and see if they lived up to the hype. However, I was slightly concerned about the overall durability of the material, particularly the shadow mesh.
Real-World Testing: Putting Muddy Blind Infinity 2 Man Pop-up Tru-view Windows to the Test
First Use Experience
I first tested the Muddy Blind Infinity 2 Man Pop-up Tru-view Windows during an early-season deer hunt in a hardwood forest. I set it up near a known deer crossing, hoping to take advantage of the blind’s visibility and concealment features.
The weather was mild and dry, but the undergrowth was thick and damp. The blind performed well in these conditions, offering ample space for myself and my gear, however I was hunting alone.
Setting up was fairly straightforward, taking about five minutes after the initial practice run at home. The silent slide window adjustments were a definite plus, allowing me to fine-tune my shooting lanes without spooking nearby deer.
The only issue I encountered was with the stakes provided; they felt a bit flimsy and bent easily when trying to secure the blind in the somewhat rocky ground. I needed to use some larger stakes I already had.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several weeks of use during deer and turkey seasons, the Muddy Blind Infinity 2 Man Pop-up Tru-view Windows has held up reasonably well. There are no major tears or structural issues, although I am cautious about using it in heavy winds.
The material shows some minor signs of wear and tear, particularly around the window openings where the fabric rubs against the frame. However, the shadow mesh has remained intact, which is crucial for concealment.
Maintenance is simple; I just wipe down the blind with a damp cloth after each use and store it in a dry place. So far, so good.
Compared to my older blinds, the Muddy Blind Infinity 2 Man Pop-up Tru-view Windows offers a significantly better field of view and more customizable shooting options. The ability to adjust the windows independently from the top and bottom is a definite improvement.
