First Use Experience
My initial testing took place at an indoor shooting range with adjustable lighting, specifically designed for evaluating night sights. I tested it both in bright and low-light conditions. The Meprolight sight immediately proved its worth in dimmer settings.
The green tritium inserts provided a clear and easily visible aiming point. It allowed for quicker target acquisition compared to the stock sights on my S&W M&P 9 C.O.R.E. In the bright conditions, the sights were slightly less impactful, but still perfectly usable.
Installation was surprisingly simple, requiring only basic tools and a few minutes of my time. No professional gunsmithing was necessary. My only initial concern was the relatively small size of the tritium dots; I wondered how well they would hold up in truly demanding scenarios.
