As an avid outdoorsman and a veteran of tactical gear assessments, I’ve seen my fair share of access solutions. Over the years, the stock steps on my travel trailer began to show their age and simply became less dependable, creating a safety concern for my family. I needed a robust and easy-to-operate replacement, prompting my search for a step system that would prioritize safety and ease of use.

Upon unboxing the Lippert 432687 Radius Corner Manual Step Triple 7″ Rise, I was immediately impressed by the heft and the quality of the black powder coat finish. The steps felt incredibly solid, and the anti-slip tape appeared durable and well-applied, promising a secure footing. Compared to some flimsy aftermarket steps I’d considered, the Lippert stood out due to its apparent ruggedness.

I considered alternatives like electric steps, but the appeal of manual steps lies in their simplicity and lower risk of mechanical failure. Ultimately, the Lippert steps struck the best balance between functionality, durability, and cost. My initial impression was one of relief; these steps appeared to be exactly what I needed to provide a safer and more convenient entry into my travel trailer.
