This kit aims to keep your tool functioning optimally by providing readily available replacements for those easily lost or damaged bits. For just $10.89, it promises to be cheap insurance against a disabled multi-tool in the field, offering a selection of double-ended bits for a variety of tasks.
Over the years, I’ve relied on my Leatherman tools for everything from field repairs on hunting gear to quick fixes around the campsite. The biggest headache has always been losing those tiny, proprietary bits. This kit was specifically purchased to avoid those headaches and keep my Leatherman Wave in top condition, no matter where my adventures take me.
Upon receiving the Leatherman 5-piece Replacement Bit Kit – Leatherman Multi Tool Accessories, my initial impression was positive. The packaging was simple and functional, containing the five double-ended bits securely. The bits themselves felt sturdy and well-made, hinting at the durability I’ve come to expect from Leatherman products.
Compared to buying individual replacement bits or generic, non-Leatherman alternatives, this kit seemed the most logical and cost-effective option. I was primarily choosing between this and purchasing a full additional bit set, but ultimately the compactness and targeted replacements of this 5-piece kit won me over. This ensures I have the most frequently used bits on hand, without unnecessary bulk.
My first impression was one of quiet satisfaction. It wasn’t a flashy or exciting unboxing, but rather the calm assurance of preparedness. This is precisely what I was hoping for.
Real-World Testing: Putting Leatherman 5-piece Replacement Bit Kit – Leatherman Multi Tool Accessories to the Test
First Use Experience
My first opportunity to test the Leatherman 5-piece Replacement Bit Kit – Leatherman Multi Tool Accessories came during a recent deer hunting trip. While setting up my treestand, I managed to strip the head of a screw, rendering my usual bit useless. Thankfully, I had the replacement kit handy.
The swap was quick and easy, and the new bit effortlessly drove the screw home. The conditions were cold and damp, and the Leatherman Multi-Tool handled admirably with the new bit. The ease of use was particularly notable – the bits fit snugly into the Leatherman bit driver, requiring no adjustments or modifications.
There were no immediate issues, though I did realize I needed to keep better track of which bit was which in low light.

After several months of regular use, the Leatherman 5-piece Replacement Bit Kit – Leatherman Multi Tool Accessories has proven to be a reliable and worthwhile investment. The bits have held up well, showing only minimal signs of wear and tear. They’ve survived exposure to mud, water, and a fair amount of abuse without any signs of corrosion or breakage.
