It’s a serious investment, but if it delivers on its promises, it could be a game-changer for serious shooters.
My decision to explore the Keiron PRO Deluxe Start Pack, All stemmed from a need to elevate my training regimen. I wanted a system that could realistically simulate dynamic shooting scenarios beyond the static paper targets. My goal was to improve my reaction time, target acquisition, and overall shooting proficiency in a way that dry-fire practice alone couldn’t replicate.
Unboxing the Keiron PRO Deluxe Start Pack, All, I was immediately struck by the apparent build quality of the components. The targets felt robust and well-made, with a professional aesthetic that hinted at their advanced functionality. Their weight suggested a level of durability that inspired confidence.
Compared to simpler laser training targets I’ve used in the past, like basic laser cartridge setups with printed targets, the Keiron PRO Deluxe Start Pack, All stood out considerably. Those felt like toys compared to the serious training tool that the Keiron PRO Deluxe Start Pack, All appeared to be. The Mantis Laser Academy system also offers target practice, but the inclusion of the Swinger PRO and timer elevate the Keiron system to a more comprehensive, full-package experience.
My first impression was one of cautious optimism mixed with a healthy dose of excitement. The price point is significant, so the Keiron PRO Deluxe Start Pack, All had better live up to the hype. I was eager to see if it could truly transform my training sessions and take my shooting skills to the next level.
Real-World Testing: Putting Keiron PRO Deluxe Start Pack, All to the Test
First Use Experience
My initial testing ground for the Keiron PRO Deluxe Start Pack, All was my indoor shooting range, where I could control the lighting and environmental conditions. I set up the 10 static targets in varying configurations, incorporating the Swinger PRO to simulate a moving threat.
The performance was impressive, even under controlled conditions. The targets reacted instantly and reliably to the green laser training pistol I was using. The Swinger PRO added a dynamic element that significantly increased the challenge and forced me to focus on tracking and leading a moving target. The PRO Timer also worked flawlessly, giving me precise feedback on my splits and overall stage times.
The only initial hiccup was figuring out the optimal laser power setting for consistent target activation. It took a few adjustments to find the sweet spot where the targets registered hits reliably without being overly sensitive to ambient light. After that, the system worked without issue.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several weeks of consistent use, the Keiron PRO Deluxe Start Pack, All has proven to be a remarkably durable and reliable training system. The targets have held up well to repeated use, showing no signs of wear and tear despite countless laser strikes.
Cleaning and maintaining the system is a breeze; a simple wipe-down with a microfiber cloth is all it takes to keep the targets dust-free and functioning optimally. The PRO Timer and Swinger PRO also remain fully functional and without performance degradation.
Compared to my previous reliance on static paper targets and dry-fire drills, the Keiron PRO Deluxe Start Pack, All has been a revelation. It provides a level of dynamic feedback and realistic scenario simulation that I simply couldn’t achieve with other methods. This training pack significantly exceeds expectations and truly delivers a professional-grade training experience.
