My old marine radio finally gave up the ghost after a particularly rough fishing trip. I needed a replacement that could handle the harsh marine environment and also offer modern features like Bluetooth connectivity.
Upon unboxing, the receiver and speakers felt solid and well-built. The receiver’s waterproof faceplate was a welcome sight, and the speakers had a reassuring heft to them. The simple design seemed functional and aesthetically pleasing.
I considered a few other options, including a Fusion unit and a Clarion receiver. Ultimately, I chose the Infinity Am/Fm/Bluetooth Multimedia Receiver Receiver With Speakers because it offered a complete package at a reasonable price, with a good balance of features and durability, from a reputable brand.

Real-World Testing: Putting Infinity Am/Fm/Bluetooth Multimedia Receiver Receiver With Speakers to the Test
First Use Experience
I installed the Infinity Am/Fm/Bluetooth Multimedia Receiver Receiver With Speakers on my 21-foot center console fishing boat. The initial test run was a fishing trip about 10 miles offshore.
The sound quality was surprisingly good, even at higher speeds with engine noise and wind. Bluetooth pairing was seamless, and the waterproof faceplate proved its worth when a rogue wave splashed over the bow.
The unit was fairly intuitive to use, but I did need to consult the manual a couple of times to figure out some of the more advanced features. One minor issue was that the display was a bit difficult to read in direct sunlight.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several months of regular use, the Infinity Am/Fm/Bluetooth Multimedia Receiver Receiver With Speakers has held up remarkably well. There are no signs of corrosion or damage, despite constant exposure to saltwater spray and UV radiation.
Cleaning is a breeze; a quick wipe-down with a damp cloth is all it takes. Compared to my old, finicky radio, this one is a dream to maintain.
It outperforms my previous unit in every way. The sound quality is better, the features are more modern, and the durability seems significantly improved.
