My need stemmed from a growing frustration with inconsistent ammunition performance while hunting whitetail deer in thick brush. I needed a round that could penetrate effectively, expand reliably, and deliver enough energy to ensure a humane kill, even with less-than-ideal shot placement. I was cautiously optimistic and excited to test its performance in the field.
