First Impressions of HHA Optimizer Ultra X Sight 1004179
Having spent over a decade fine-tuning my archery setups for everything from whitetail hunts in dense forests to 3D archery competitions, I’ve seen my share of sights. The HHA Optimizer Ultra X Sight 1004179, with its promise of infinite adjustability and simplified sighting-in process, immediately caught my eye. HHA is a brand known for quality, and I was eager to see if this sight lived up to the reputation.
My need for a new sight stemmed from a growing frustration with the limitations of my multi-pin sight, especially when dealing with longer, less predictable shots. I was specifically looking for a single-pin sight that offered precision adjustment and a clear, uncluttered view.
Unboxing the HHA Optimizer Ultra X Sight 1004179 revealed a solid piece of equipment. The black anodized aluminum looked and felt robust, and the adjustments seemed smooth and precise.
Compared to my previous multi-pin sight and a friend’s similar single-pin sight from a different brand, the HHA Optimizer Ultra X Sight 1004179 stood out because of its new Infinite Adjust Slotted Slide Bracket. This feature, promising easy 2nd axis and vertical adjustments, seemed like a game-changer. I was definitely excited to get it mounted and see if it delivered on that promise.
