The Fusion Entertainment 010-01983-00 Ms Srx400 Apollo Series Zone Stereo/Remote 2 7/10″ LCD Color Display represents a leap forward in marine audio technology, packing a powerful punch in a compact form factor. From Fusion Entertainment, this unit promises seamless audio streaming, intuitive control, and robust durability, essential for any serious boater.
I’ve spent countless hours on the water, often frustrated by subpar audio systems that couldn’t withstand the harsh marine environment or offer convenient control. I needed a system that could deliver high-quality sound, integrate seamlessly with my existing onboard technology, and provide easy zone control to cater to different areas of my boat. This quest led me to the Fusion Entertainment 010-01983-00 Ms Srx400 Apollo Series Zone Stereo/Remote.
Unboxing the Srx400 revealed a sleek, well-built unit. The 2.7-inch color display immediately impressed me with its clarity and vibrant colors. Compared to other marine stereos I’ve used, like the Clarion M508 or the Sony DSX-M55BT, the Fusion Entertainment unit seemed more thoughtfully designed and integrated.
Initially, I was excited by the promise of Apple AirPlay and Fusion‘s PartyBus technology. However, I was also slightly apprehensive about the installation process and whether the compact size would compromise sound quality. My first impression was one of cautious optimism, hoping that this unit could finally deliver the ultimate marine audio experience.

First Use Experience
I tested the Fusion Entertainment 010-01983-00 Ms Srx400 Apollo Series Zone Stereo/Remote on my 28-foot sportfisher during a weekend fishing trip off the coast of Southern California. The sound quality was surprisingly good, even at high speeds and against the backdrop of engine noise and wind. However, the real game-changer was the PartyBus feature, which allowed me to easily control the audio in different zones of the boat. I was able to blast rock anthems on the deck while enjoying softer jazz tunes in the cabin.

After several months of regular use, the Fusion Entertainment Srx400 continues to impress. There are no signs of wear and tear, even after being exposed to salt spray and harsh sunlight.
