The FN America FN Reflex 9mm 15 Round Extended Floorplate Pistol Magazine promises enhanced capacity and reliability for FN‘s popular micro-compact pistol. As someone deeply entrenched in the tactical gear world, I’ve always appreciated FN‘s commitment to quality, and I was eager to see if this magazine lived up to that reputation. This extended magazine aims to address the common concern of limited capacity in compact handguns, offering users the potential for increased confidence in self-defense scenarios.
My quest for this magazine started when I acquired an FN Reflex for concealed carry. While the factory 11-round magazine offered decent capacity, I wanted a little more security, especially for situations where a threat might involve multiple assailants. I considered several other extended magazines from third-party manufacturers, but ultimately decided on the FN America magazine for its guaranteed compatibility and reliability.
Upon unboxing, the magazine felt solid and well-made. The black finish matched the FN Reflex perfectly, and the extended floorplate provided a comfortable grip extension without adding excessive bulk. The FN America FN Reflex 9mm 15 Round Extended Floorplate Pistol Magazine appeared visually identical to the factory magazine, save for the longer body and extended floorplate, instilling initial confidence in its functionality.
My first impression was positive; this wasn’t some cheap aftermarket part. This felt like a quality extension designed to enhance the capability of the FN Reflex, and I looked forward to testing it thoroughly.
