The Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics 12 Gauge 1 1/8oz 2.75in 7 1/2 Shot Shotgun Ammunition
12SDHV75 37% Off promises consistent performance for target shooters and sporting clay enthusiasts. Fiocchi, a well-respected name in ammunition, aims to deliver quality and reliability with this target load.
I was seeking a dependable, budget-friendly option for regular trips to the shooting range. Over the years, ammunition costs have skyrocketed, making practice sessions more of a financial burden.
The shells come in a standard 25-round box, neatly packed and ready to go. Upon inspection, the hulls appeared clean and well-crimped, indicating solid construction. They felt like any other off-the-shelf shell.
I considered Winchester AA and Remington Gun Club, both well-regarded target loads. However, the Fiocchi ammunition, especially with the current discount, offered a better value proposition.
Initially, I was cautiously optimistic, hoping that the lower price wouldn’t equate to lower performance. The Fiocchi name carries a certain weight, and I was eager to see if these shells lived up to the brand’s reputation.
Real-World Testing: Putting **Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics 12 Gauge 1 1/8oz 2.75in 7 1/2 Shot Shotgun Ammunition

First Use Experience
I tested the Fiocchi ammunition at my local shooting range, running them through a Beretta A400 Xcel and a Mossberg 500. The weather was mild, around 65 degrees Fahrenheit with a slight breeze, ideal for target shooting.
The shells cycled flawlessly through both shotguns, with no jams or misfires. Recoil was manageable, consistent with other 1 1/8oz target loads.
The shells performed as expected, breaking clay targets consistently at various distances. I didn’t observe any noticeable difference in performance compared to more expensive brands during my first outing.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several months of use, I have fired several boxes of the Fiocchi ammunition. They’ve proven to be remarkably consistent.
I’ve noticed no significant signs of wear and tear on my shotguns attributed to this ammunition. Cleaning the guns after use was no different than with any other standard target load.
In comparison to my previous go-to, the Remington Gun Club, the Fiocchi shells are nearly identical in terms of performance and cleanliness. Given the lower price point, Fiocchi has become my preferred choice for practice sessions.

Performance & Functionality
The Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics 12 Gauge ammunition performs admirably in its intended role. It consistently breaks clay targets, and cycles reliably through various shotguns.
The strengths lie in its consistent patterns and reliable ignition. The weakness, if any, is that it’s a standard target load, not optimized for specialized applications like hunting.

Design & Ergonomics
The design is typical of most shotgun shells, with a plastic hull and a securely crimped top. The shells load smoothly into magazines and chambers.
