First Impressions of EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack
The EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack promises a cost-effective and convenient solution for honing your shooting skills. EZ-Aim, a manufacturer known for accessible and practical shooting accessories, offers these targets as an all-purpose option for various firearms and skill levels. The promise of a bulk pack with a clear, easily visible bullseye design immediately caught my attention.
My need for consistent, reliable targets stems from my regular practice sessions at the range and occasional training with newer shooters. I was searching for a target that was inexpensive enough to use liberally, yet durable enough to withstand repeated use. I’d been using a hodgepodge of homemade targets and single-sheet options which were neither consistent nor particularly durable.
Upon receiving the EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack, I was initially pleased with the neat, bound packaging. The paper seemed of decent quality, and the orange bullseye provided a striking visual contrast. Compared to reactive steel targets or high-tech electronic systems, these paper targets offer a simplicity and affordability that’s hard to beat.
I considered Champion’s DuraSeal targets and Birchwood Casey’s Shoot-N-C targets. Ultimately, I chose the EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack due to its combination of quantity and price. My first impression was cautiously optimistic; the targets seemed practical and well-suited for their intended purpose.
I was excited to have a consistent target available for my training, however, I was also slightly apprehensive about the paper quality and printing clarity. The price was excellent, but I also wondered if they would hold up to repeated use, or be damaged by even slight moisture.
Real-World Testing: Putting EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack to the Test
First Use Experience
My first experience with the EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack was at my local outdoor shooting range. I used them primarily with my 9mm pistol and .22LR rifle, at distances ranging from 7 to 25 yards. The weather was dry and sunny, providing ideal conditions for testing visibility.
The bright orange bullseye proved remarkably easy to see, even at the longer distances. The concentric rings offered clear visual reference points for adjusting my aim. I experienced no issues hanging the targets using simple paper clips and the range’s target stands.
The paper held up surprisingly well to repeated shots from both calibers. There was minimal tearing, and the bullet holes remained relatively clean and defined. I was pleased with the immediate feedback the targets provided, clearly showing my shot placement.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several weeks of regular use, the EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack continues to perform admirably. The targets have been subjected to varying weather conditions, including light rain and moderate wind. They still provide consistent feedback and remain usable even when slightly damp.
The paper does show some signs of wear and tear after prolonged use, especially when subjected to repeated close-range shots. However, the pack contains 100 targets, making replacement quick and painless. Maintenance is essentially non-existent; simply dispose of the used target and replace it with a fresh one.
Compared to my previous experiences with lower-quality paper targets, the EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack is a significant improvement. The durability and visibility are noticeably better, and the cost per target remains remarkably low. They offer a consistent, reliable, and affordable solution for regular shooting practice.

Performance & Functionality
The EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack excels at its primary function: providing a clear and consistent aiming point for shooting practice. The concentric rings offer valuable visual cues for tracking progress and adjusting aim.
The paper construction effectively captures bullet impacts, providing immediate feedback on shot placement. The targets perform reliably with a wide range of calibers, from .22LR to larger pistol rounds. While not designed for extreme long-range shooting, they are perfectly suited for typical pistol and rifle practice distances.
A minor weakness is that the paper can tear if subjected to repeated close-range shots from high-powered rifles. However, this is easily mitigated by using multiple targets or adjusting the shooting distance. Overall, the EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack meets and exceeds expectations for a basic paper target.

Maintenance is virtually nonexistent; simply dispose of the used target after shooting. There are no repairs to be made, and no cleaning is required. The paper construction makes them susceptible to water damage, so it’s best to store them in a dry environment.

The EZ-Aim Allen Shooting Target Bullseye Paper Hanging 100-Pack is a standalone product and doesn’t come with any additional accessories. Customization is limited to how the target is mounted and the distance at which it’s used. The targets are compatible with a wide range of target stands and holders, offering flexibility in setup.
While no specific accessories are designed for these targets, users can enhance their training by using spotting scopes or target cameras to remotely monitor shot placement.
