Let’s Talk About Do All Outdoors Double Tree Spinner Target
The Do All Outdoors Double Tree Spinner Target offers a compact and portable solution for some backyard .22 caliber fun. Made by Do All Outdoors, this target system promises quick setup and reactive spinning action, perfect for honing your marksmanship skills. I was drawn to this particular target because I was looking for an easily transportable and engaging target for my kids to use with their .22 rifles. We needed something more exciting than paper targets and simpler than setting up a full steel target array.
The packaging was simple and straightforward. Unboxing revealed a solid metal construction with a bright orange finish. The initial impression was positive, and I was pleased with its robust feel, especially considering the price point.
I considered several other options before settling on this one. There were similar spinner targets available, but many lacked the threaded design for easy insertion into wood. I also looked at some self-resetting airgun targets, but they were considerably more expensive and not specifically rated for .22. My decision was influenced by the Do All Outdoors Double Tree Spinner Target‘s portability, simple design, and affordability.
Initially, I was excited but also a little skeptical. Would it really hold up to repeated .22 impacts? Could it be as simple to set up as the description claimed? Only time and some target practice would tell.
Real-World Testing: Putting Do All Outdoors Double Tree Spinner Target to the Test
First Use Experience
I first tested the Do All Outdoors Double Tree Spinner Target at my family’s rural property, using a sturdy pine tree as the mounting point. We were shooting from a distance of 25 yards with .22 LR rifles. The threaded end screwed easily into the tree, providing a surprisingly stable platform.
The weather was dry with a slight breeze. The bright orange color of the targets made them easy to see against the backdrop of the woods. The targets spun readily with each hit, creating a satisfying “plinking” sound.
It took no time to get used to the Do All Outdoors Double Tree Spinner Target. My kids, who range in age from 10 to 16, were immediately hooked by the reactive spinning action. The only surprise was how quickly we went through ammunition!
Extended Use & Reliability
After several months of regular use, the Do All Outdoors Double Tree Spinner Target has held up remarkably well. There are a few minor scratches in the paint, but the metal frame shows no signs of bending or damage. The targets still spin freely and reliably.
The target requires virtually no maintenance. I occasionally wipe it down with a dry cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Compared to setting up and tearing down paper targets, this is a breeze.
This product has far exceeded my initial expectations. It’s more durable than I anticipated, and the ease of setup and portability make it a clear winner compared to other target systems I’ve used in the past. It makes for a fun and engaging training tool.
