First Impressions of Crickett Compact Silver 4x32mm Riflescope
The Crickett Compact Silver 4x32mm Riflescope promises to deliver quality and precision in a small package. Davey Crickett is known for producing firearms and accessories geared towards youth and new shooters, and this scope seems to align with that philosophy. A fixed 4x magnification and 32mm objective lens suggest a simple, straightforward optic designed for shorter ranges and smaller rifles.
My journey to finding this scope started with a need for a reliable optic for my son’s youth rifle. We needed something simple to use, easy to mount, and robust enough to withstand the occasional bump and scrape inherent in learning to shoot. After researching several options, the Crickett Compact Silver 4x32mm Riflescope stood out because of its compact size, fixed magnification, and positive reviews from other parents and instructors.
Upon unboxing, the first thing I noticed was its lightweight design. The silver finish gives it a clean, almost understated look, which is a nice touch. It felt well-assembled, and there were no immediately obvious flaws or defects in the construction. Compared to a larger variable power scope I use on my hunting rifle, this was significantly smaller and lighter, appearing perfectly suited for a smaller firearm.
I picked this scope over others because of its simplicity and suitability for a youth rifle. Many variable power scopes can be overwhelming for new shooters, and I wanted something that would allow my son to focus on the fundamentals without getting bogged down in adjustments. Initial impressions were positive; I was excited to get it mounted and see how it performed at the range.

After several months of use, the Crickett Compact Silver 4x32mm Riflescope has held up remarkably well. There are no signs of wear and tear beyond a few minor scratches. Cleaning and maintenance are straightforward, simply requiring a lens cloth to remove any dust or fingerprints.
