I’ve always prioritized bore cleanliness to preserve accuracy and longevity, and cheap patches just don’t cut it. My search focused on finding patches that offered superior absorbency and gentle cleaning action. I was looking for something specifically designed for the nuances of smaller caliber firearms without abrasive action.

Upon receiving the Cotton Flannel Patches 6mm – .30 Caliber 1.5 Inch Round 600 Per, I immediately noticed the soft texture of the flannel. The uniform round shape and absence of loose threads spoke volumes about the manufacturing process. Compared to generic, bulk-cut patches, these exuded quality and intentional design.

I had considered using pre-cut cotton squares or even improvising with old t-shirts, but those options lacked consistency and often left lint in the bore. First Use Experience

I first tested the Cotton Flannel Patches 6mm – .30 Caliber 1.5 Inch Round 600 Per at my home cleaning station, meticulously cleaning my .22 LR rifle and my 6mm ARC AR-15. Even when using a solvent, the patches didn’t shred or fall apart, maintaining their integrity. I specifically looked for lint, which is a common problem with cheaper patches, but found virtually none.
