First Thoughts on the CMMG Endeavor 22 ARC 20″ – Titanium
The CMMG Endeavor 22 ARC 20″ – Titanium immediately caught my eye. As someone deeply entrenched in the outdoor and tactical world, I’m always on the hunt for gear that blends performance, durability, and innovation. The promise of a .22 ARC caliber rifle from CMMG, combined with a titanium build, signaled something special; a platform potentially bridging the gap between a dedicated precision rimfire rifle and a lightweight, modular sporting arm.
I was searching for a versatile .22 platform to train with using similar ergonomics as my AR-15, but in a more economical caliber. Rimfire training is excellent for building fundamental marksmanship skills without the expense of centerfire ammunition. My first impression upon receiving the CMMG Endeavor 22 ARC 20″ – Titanium was its surprisingly lightweight feel. The titanium components, notably the barrel extension, contribute to a noticeable reduction in weight compared to similar steel-barreled rifles.
I had been considering a Ruger 10/22 build and a dedicated .22LR AR upper from Brownells. I ultimately chose the CMMG Endeavor 22 ARC 20″ – Titanium for its optimized .22 ARC chambering and complete rifle package. I was definitely excited. The prospect of a lightweight, accurate, and reliable .22 platform ready to go right out of the box definitely piqued my interest.
