C&H Precision Weapons EDC GLX Optic Sights Review

First Impressions of C&H Precision Weapons EDC GLX Optic Sights

The world of pistol optics is constantly evolving, and finding the right balance between size, durability, and performance can be a challenge. Enter the C&H Precision Weapons EDC GLX Optic Sights, a compact red dot designed for everyday carry and demanding use. From the initial specs, it seems to promise a lot: rugged construction, motion-activated wake-up, and a long battery life.

My search for a new optic for my Glock 48 MOS stemmed from wanting a more reliable and compact solution for concealed carry. The factory sights are okay, but I wanted faster target acquisition and improved accuracy in low-light conditions. The C&H Precision Weapons EDC GLX Optic Sights seemed like a promising option due to its size and features tailored for EDC.

Unboxing the optic revealed a sleek, black unit that felt solid in my hand. The aircraft aluminum construction was immediately apparent, giving a sense of durability without excessive weight. The compact size was also a pleasant surprise, seemingly perfect for my Glock 48 MOS.

Compared to the Trijicon RMRcc and Holosun 507K, the C&H Precision Weapons EDC GLX Optic Sights felt like a direct competitor in terms of size and features. I ultimately chose this model because of the stated battery life and the motion-activated wake feature, which seemed superior to manual on/off switches. My first impression was excitement mixed with cautious optimism.

Real-World Testing: Putting C&H Precision Weapons EDC GLX Optic Sights to the Test

First Use Experience

I first tested the C&H Precision Weapons EDC GLX Optic Sights at my local indoor shooting range. I mounted it on my Glock 48 MOS and immediately started running drills at various distances. The optic has endured daily carry, occasional bumps, and exposure to various weather conditions.
