Real-World Testing: Putting Browning Muted Fleece Gloves, Ovix Camo, Large, – 1 out of 8 models to the Test
First Use Experience
I first tested the Browning Muted Fleece Gloves, Ovix Camo, Large, – 1 out of 8 models on a deer hunting trip in late October. The temperature was around 40 degrees Fahrenheit with a light drizzle. I put them to the test in the cold, wet conditions of my tree stand.
The gloves performed admirably in the damp conditions, keeping my hands warm and dry for several hours. The quiet fleece was a huge advantage as I adjusted my rifle and binoculars. I did notice the touchscreen fingertip wasn’t as responsive as I’d hoped, requiring a few extra tries to manipulate my phone.

After several weeks of use, including multiple hunting trips and hiking excursions, the Browning Muted Fleece Gloves, Ovix Camo, Large, – 1 out of 8 models have held up reasonably well. There’s minimal wear on the synthetic leather palm, and the fleece hasn’t pilled or torn. Cleaning has been simple.
I throw them in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and air dry them. Compared to my previous hunting gloves, which became stiff and uncomfortable after getting wet, the Browning Muted Fleece Gloves, Ovix Camo, Large, – 1 out of 8 models maintain their softness and flexibility. The touchscreen capability, while not perfect, is still a welcome feature compared to removing my gloves entirely.
