Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Rifle Stock SS Evolution Savage 93 Non E Receiver Short Action Detachable Box Mag Review

Let’s Talk About Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Rifle Stock SS Evolution Savage 93 Non E Receiver Short Action Detachable Box Mag

The Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Rifle Stock SS Evolution Savage 93 Non E Receiver Short Action Detachable Box Mag is a drop-in replacement stock designed to elevate the performance and aesthetics of your Savage 93 rifle. Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks has long been known for providing quality, affordable stock upgrades, and this particular model promises to be no different. With its distinctive forest camo finish and ergonomic design, it’s poised to be a favorite among hunters and recreational shooters alike.

I was looking for a way to improve the accuracy and handling of my Savage 93. The factory stock, while functional, lacked the rigidity and comfortable grip needed for consistent, long-range shots, especially in challenging weather conditions.

The Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks stock arrived well-packaged and immediately impressed with its solid feel and attractive forest camo finish. The laminate wood construction felt substantial and provided a stark contrast to the lightweight, somewhat flimsy factory stock.

Compared to similar aftermarket stocks from companies like Magpul (which doesn’t make stocks for this particular rifle) or even some of the higher-end offerings from Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks themselves, I chose this model because it struck a balance between features, aesthetics, and price. The SS Evolution design, in particular, looked aggressive and promised improved ergonomics.

My first impression was excitement mixed with a bit of apprehension. The stock looked fantastic and felt great in my hands, but I was slightly concerned about the installation process and whether it would truly deliver the improved accuracy I was hoping for.
