First Impressions of Bohning Arrow Wraps 1406317
The Bohning Arrow Wraps 1406317 are designed to be a simple but effective way to customize and improve the performance of carbon arrows. These 7-inch vinyl wraps, offered in red and black, promise minimal overlap and universal adhesive compatibility, making them an appealing choice for archers looking to personalize their gear and enhance fletching adhesion. I’ve used wraps from other manufacturers before, with mixed results, so I was eager to see how Bohning’s offering stacked up.
For years, I’ve struggled with fletching adhesion on my carbon arrows, especially in damp conditions. Often, vanes would peel away after only a few shots, leading to frustrating inconsistencies in my arrow flight. I needed a reliable solution to improve adhesion and protect my arrow shafts.
Upon unboxing, the wraps felt smooth and pliable. The colors, red and black, were vibrant and seemed to be of good quality. Bohning is a well-known name in archery, so I had confidence in their product, yet I was still interested in seeing if this product would improve my archery experience.
Compared to some cheaper wraps I’ve used, the Bohning wraps felt less brittle. Other brands often cracked easily during application. I chose these over wraps from brands like Easton due to Bohning’s reputation and the promised minimal overlap design.
My initial impression was positive. I was excited to see if these wraps would finally solve my fletching adhesion problems and give my arrows a professional, personalized look.

Maintaining the wraps is simple. I just wipe them down with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. They are easy to keep clean.
