Birchwood Casey EZE-Scorer Green Target Silhouette Paper Target 12″ x 18″ 10 Per Pack Review

The Birchwood Casey EZE-Scorer Green Target Silhouette Paper Target 12″ x 18″ 10 Per Pack Made a Bold First Impression

As a seasoned tactical gear specialist, I’ve seen my fair share of targets, from reactive steel to high-tech digital displays. However, there’s a certain satisfaction that comes from the simplicity and immediacy of a good old-fashioned paper target. When I first encountered the Birchwood Casey EZE-Scorer Green Target Silhouette Paper Target 12″ x 18″ 10 Per Pack, I was intrigued by its promise of clear visibility and ease of scoring, especially at its incredibly accessible price point of $3.99.

My shooting range had recently implemented a policy requiring shooters to provide their own targets, a move that, while understandable from a cost-saving perspective, left me scrambling for a reliable and affordable option. I needed something that could withstand the rigors of frequent practice sessions, provide a clear aiming point, and allow for quick and accurate assessment of my shots. The need to efficiently and accurately track my shot groupings was paramount to improving my marksmanship and equipment handling skills.

Upon receiving the pack, I immediately noticed the vibrant green silhouette against the white background. The 12″ x 18″ size seemed perfect for a variety of distances, and the inclusion of a scoring table printed directly on the target was a thoughtful touch. Compared to generic bullseye targets or other silhouette options I’d used in the past, the Birchwood Casey targets offered a higher contrast and a more structured scoring system. I had considered heavier card stock targets for increased durability, and even some adhesive options for easy mounting, but the price and the integrated scoring system of the Birchwood Casey EZE-Scorer Green Target Silhouette Paper Target 12″ x 18″ 10 Per Pack won me over.

My initial impression was one of pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting premium quality at this price point, but the targets seemed well-made and thoughtfully designed. While I wasn’t blown away, I was certainly optimistic about their performance at the range. It seemed like they would adequately serve their purpose, so I loaded them into my range bag and headed out to test them.

The targets were easy to attach to the standard target stands using simple binder clips. The high-contrast green silhouette proved to be remarkably easy to acquire, even at longer distances. There were no issues, even when transitioning between firearm platforms.
