Bestech Knives Fin Linerlock Black SW Folding Knife Review

First Impressions of Bestech Knives Fin Linerlock Black SW Folding Knife

The Bestech Knives Fin Linerlock Black SW Folding Knife immediately struck me as a blend of tactical utility and refined aesthetics. Bestech Knives has a reputation for delivering quality knives at accessible price points, and the Fin seemed to uphold that tradition upon initial inspection. Its sleek, black-washed blade and minimalist handle design hinted at a capable tool ready for demanding tasks.

I was looking for a reliable everyday carry (EDC) knife that could handle everything from opening packages to more demanding outdoor tasks. I needed a blade that was both durable and easy to carry.

Upon unboxing, the Bestech Knives Fin Linerlock Black SW Folding Knife felt solid and well-balanced in my hand. The black-washed finish on the blade gave it a tactical look, while the handle’s ergonomics suggested a comfortable and secure grip. The action was smooth right out of the box, and the liner lock engaged with a reassuring click.

Compared to my Benchmade Griptilian and my Spyderco Paramilitary 2, the Fin offered a different feel. The Griptilian is a workhorse, the Paramilitary 2 is a slicer, but the Bestech Knives Fin Linerlock Black SW Folding Knife seemed to aim for a balance between the two. I chose the Fin because its price point allowed me to test a new brand without a massive investment, and I liked the blade shape and handle design.

My first impression was definitely positive. I was excited to see how it would perform in real-world scenarios, given its promising initial feel and apparent build quality.
