First Impressions of Beal Ghost Usa Flag Harness
The Beal Ghost Usa Flag Harness immediately caught my eye; it’s not every day you see climbing gear sporting the stars and stripes. Beal, a name synonymous with quality climbing equipment, promises an ultra-light and comfortable harness designed for expert climbers and mountaineers. This harness boasts Web Core Technology for exceptional comfort while maintaining a minimal weight.
I needed a new harness for upcoming alpine climbs where weight and comfort are paramount. My old harness, while reliable, felt bulky and restrictive on long days. I was seeking something that wouldn’t weigh me down but would still provide the necessary support and features.
The Beal Ghost Usa Flag Harness felt incredibly light right out of the box. The materials seemed high-quality, and the construction appeared solid. Compared to my Black Diamond Momentum harness (a good all-around harness) and my Arc’teryx AR-395a (known for its comfort), the Beal Ghost Usa Flag Harness seemed to strike a unique balance between weight and features. I had considered the Petzl Sitta for its ultralight design, but the Beal Ghost Usa Flag Harness’s patriotic flair and two ice screw attachment loops swayed my decision.
I was definitely excited; a lightweight, comfortable harness with ice screw holders and a unique design seemed perfect for my needs. If it performs as advertised, it could become my go-to harness for alpine adventures.
