Real-World Testing: Putting Axcel LANDSLYDE Slider Tactical Bowhunting Sight to the Test
First Use Experience
My initial testing took place at my local archery range, a controlled environment perfect for sighting in and getting familiar with the LANDSLYDE. I tested the sight in moderately sunny conditions.
The Axcel LANDSLYDE took some time to initially set up, especially calibrating the yardage tapes and zeroing in the pointers. However, once dialed in, the adjustments were incredibly precise, making fine-tuning a breeze. I encountered no major issues during the initial setup, but the sheer number of adjustment options initially felt overwhelming.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several weeks of shooting with the Axcel LANDSLYDE, it has proven to be a reliable and durable piece of equipment. The elevation bar and windage adjustments remain smooth and consistent.
I’ve observed no significant wear and tear, even after being bumped around during a recent hunting trip. Cleaning requires only a quick wipe-down to remove dust and debris, making maintenance minimal. The LANDSLYDE has outperformed every other sight I’ve used.
