The AmeriGlo Tall Suppressor Height Sight 5XL Black Serrated Front Flat Black Rear Black Frame For Glock Except 42 & 43 promises an elevated sight picture for co-witnessing with red dots and suppressors. As someone who runs both on various Glock platforms, the prospect of a reliable and affordable sight set to facilitate this was immediately appealing. This review aims to provide an in-depth look at their performance, durability, and overall value.
I’ve been increasingly experimenting with pistol-mounted red dots and suppressors for both recreational shooting and tactical applications. Factory Glock sights simply don’t cut it in these scenarios, and I needed a solution that wouldn’t break the bank while offering reliable performance.
Upon unboxing, the AmeriGlo sights presented a no-nonsense, functional aesthetic. The black serrated front sight and flat black rear sight exuded a tactical vibe. The build quality seemed solid, exhibiting precise machining and a durable finish.
Compared to Trijicon Bright & Tough suppressor height sights, the AmeriGlo offering comes in at a significantly lower price point. I chose the AmeriGlo because I wanted to see if I could get similar performance for less. My initial reaction was cautiously optimistic; the sights looked the part, but the real test would be on the range.
