The Ameriglo Green Front Tritium Night Sight For All For Glock Pisto – Green Color Made a Bold First Impression
As a seasoned tactical gear specialist with over a decade in the field, I’ve seen countless firearm upgrades come and go. But the promise of enhanced low-light visibility always piques my interest, which led me to the Ameriglo Green Front Tritium Night Sight For All For Glock Pisto – Green Color. The Ameriglo brand has a solid reputation, and I was eager to see if this affordable night sight lived up to the hype.
My aging Glock 19, a trusty companion for years of range sessions and occasional backcountry excursions, was starting to show its age when it came to target acquisition in dim conditions. The factory sights, while adequate in daylight, became nearly useless at dusk or in shadowed environments, demanding a quick and reliable solution. The Ameriglo Green Front Tritium Night Sight seemed like the perfect, budget-friendly upgrade.
Upon unboxing, the sight exuded a sense of quality that belied its price point. The tritium vial was brightly illuminated, even in moderately lit rooms, promising excellent visibility when it mattered most. The overall construction felt solid, and the green color of the front sight was vibrant and easily distinguishable.
Compared to other night sights I’ve used, such as the Trijicon HD XR or the XS Sights F8, the Ameriglo offering clearly aims for a more minimalist and budget-conscious approach. While those premium options offer enhanced features like colored outlines and wider sight pictures, the Ameriglo Green Front Tritium Night Sight focuses on delivering reliable low-light visibility without breaking the bank. I chose the Ameriglo because I wanted a simple, effective upgrade for my Glock without spending a fortune.
My first impression was overwhelmingly positive. The sight felt well-made, the tritium vial was bright, and the installation process seemed straightforward (more on that later). I was excited to get it installed and test it out on the range.

Target acquisition was significantly faster compared to the factory sights, and I noticed a definite improvement in my accuracy at various distances. The sight’s brightness remained consistent, even as the ambient light decreased further.
There were no immediate issues after the first range session. The sight remained securely mounted, and the tritium vial continued to glow brightly. I did, however, realize that I needed to spend some more time adjusting my grip and sight picture to fully take advantage of the new front sight.
