Let’s Talk About Agency Arms Syndicate S2 Stripped Glock 19 Pistol Slide
The Agency Arms Syndicate S2 Stripped Glock 19 Pistol Slide is a premium upgrade designed to elevate the performance and aesthetics of your Glock 19. Manufactured by Agency Arms, this slide features an Agency Optic System (AOS) plate for versatile optic mounting and is crafted from durable 17-4 stainless steel. The aggressive knurling ensures a positive grip in all conditions, promising enhanced control and accuracy.
My interest in this slide stemmed from a desire to improve my Glock 19’s accuracy and mounting options for optics. The factory slide was functional, but lacked the precision and adaptability I was looking for in a dedicated defensive pistol. The Agency Arms slide seemed like the perfect solution to unlock the full potential of my Glock.
Upon unboxing, the immediate impression was one of quality and craftsmanship. The slide felt substantial and well-made, with precise machining and a flawless Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) finish. The knurling was aggressive without being abrasive, providing an excellent gripping surface.
Compared to other aftermarket Glock slides I’ve considered from ZEV Technologies and Taran Tactical, the Agency Arms slide stood out due to its balance of aesthetics, functionality, and reputation for reliability. While other slides may offer more aggressive styling, the Syndicate S2 seemed more refined and purposeful. I chose this option over others because of Agency Arms’s known quality and the AOS plate’s versatility.
My first impression was excitement. This Agency Arms Syndicate S2 Stripped Glock 19 Pistol Slide felt like a serious upgrade, promising improved performance and a more personalized shooting experience. The initial feel gives me confidence that it will perform as it looks.
Real-World Testing: Putting Agency Arms Syndicate S2 Stripped Glock 19 Pistol Slide to the Test
First Use Experience
The initial testing took place at an outdoor shooting range, focusing on accuracy and handling. I tested it in dry conditions with a variety of ammunition, ranging from standard FMJ to premium self-defense rounds. The Agency Arms Syndicate S2 Stripped Glock 19 Pistol Slide immediately felt more responsive and precise than the factory slide.
The slide cycled smoothly, and the enhanced grip significantly improved my control during rapid firing. The AOS plate allowed for quick and easy installation of a Trijicon RMR, providing a clear and accurate sight picture. There were no malfunctions or hiccups during the first range session.
The only minor issue was adjusting to the slightly different weight distribution of the new slide. This adjustment was quick, and I found that the enhanced control and accuracy more than made up for it. It was effortless after a few magazines of ammo.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several months of consistent use, the Agency Arms Syndicate S2 Stripped Glock 19 Pistol Slide continues to perform flawlessly. There are no signs of significant wear and tear on the DLC finish, and the slide continues to cycle smoothly and reliably. I have put approximately 2000 rounds through the slide.
The slide requires minimal maintenance, primarily consisting of regular cleaning and lubrication. The DLC finish makes it easy to wipe down and resists corrosion effectively. No issues have arisen.
Compared to my previous experiences with factory Glock slides and other aftermarket options, the Agency Arms slide is a clear winner. It provides a noticeable improvement in accuracy, handling, and overall shooting experience. I feel that the price is more than justified for this reason.
