Real-World Testing: Putting Action Target IDPA-P-100 Military IDPA Hanging Paper 23″ X 35″ Silhouette Ta to the Test
First Use Experience
I tested these targets at my local outdoor shooting range, simulating various IDPA stage setups. The weather was slightly windy, which initially caused some concern about target stability. However, the paper’s weight and size helped mitigate the wind’s effects, keeping the silhouette relatively stable.
The targets proved incredibly easy to use. They hung securely from standard target stands using simple binder clips, making setup quick and efficient. I immediately noticed the realistic scoring zones, making my training more focused on accuracy and speed in the correct areas. I felt more prepared to tackle real IDPA stages.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several weeks of consistent use, the Action Target IDPA-P-100 Military IDPA Hanging Paper 23″ X 35″ Silhouette Ta targets have proven to be exceptionally durable. Even after repeated use with various calibers, the targets held up well, showing minimal tearing beyond the bullet holes themselves.
Maintenance is non-existent, as the targets are designed for single-use. Compared to my previous experience of reusing patched-up targets, the Action Target option provides a consistently clear and accurate training platform. They have significantly outperformed my expectations.
