As a seasoned tactical gear specialist, I’ve often struggled with efficiently organizing essential items on my duty belt without adding unnecessary bulk. I sought a compact solution for carrying disposable gloves, a necessity for maintaining hygiene and safety in various field situations.
Upon receiving the Bianchi 7915 Pager/Glove Pouch – Basket Black, Chrome 22117, my initial impression was positive, noting its sturdy construction and professional appearance. The basketweave texture added a touch of class compared to plain nylon pouches.
Compared to a generic nylon glove pouch and a leather multi-tool holster I previously used, the Bianchi 7915 stood out for its streamlined design and specialized functionality. The generic pouch lacked structure and the leather holster was too bulky for just gloves.

First Use Experience
I tested the Bianchi 7915 Pager/Glove Pouch – Basket Black, Chrome 22117 during a week-long security detail at an outdoor music festival. The environment involved constant movement, exposure to varying weather conditions, and frequent interactions with the public.
The pouch performed admirably in both dry and damp conditions, retaining its shape and keeping the gloves readily accessible. The Duraskin finish proved resistant to minor abrasions from contact with equipment and clothing.
Using the pouch was intuitive from the start. The chrome snap closure allowed for swift access to the gloves without fumbling, and the dual belt loops kept it securely in place on my duty belt.
After the first day, I noticed a slight stiffness in the leather, which resolved itself after a few uses. Otherwise, there were no immediate issues or surprises.
Extended Use & Reliability
After three months of consistent use, the Bianchi 7915 Pager/Glove Pouch – Basket Black, Chrome 22117 has held up remarkably well. There are no signs of significant wear and tear, and the stitching remains intact.
The molded and contoured trilaminate construction has prevented the pouch from losing its shape, even when repeatedly stuffing it with gloves. The Coptex knit lining has also held up nicely.
Maintaining the pouch is simple. Wiping it down with a damp cloth is usually sufficient, and a leather conditioner can be applied occasionally to maintain its appearance.
In comparison to a cheaper nylon pouch I used previously, the Bianchi 7915 significantly outperforms it in terms of durability, accessibility, and overall professional appearance. The previous pouch ripped after just 1 month of use.
