Barnett Ghost 360, I knew this one might be different. My Barnett Ghost 360’s string had finally given out after seasons of hard use, and I needed a replacement I could depend on.
For years, I’d been plagued by crossbow strings that frayed prematurely, stretched excessively, or simply didn’t deliver consistent performance. I needed a string that offered superior durability, reduced friction, and, most importantly, unwavering accuracy. The promise of BlackHeart’s GlideLock center serving and DuraWeave pre-stretching technology intrigued me.
Upon unboxing, the string felt robust and well-made. The serving was tightly wound and smooth to the touch, a stark contrast to some of the cheaper strings I’ve encountered. Compared to a generic replacement string I had on hand, the BlackHeart string exuded quality and attention to detail. Initial impressions were positive; I was eager to see how it performed in the field.
I could have opted for another factory Barnett string, but I’d heard good things about BlackHeart‘s reputation for improved durability. This, coupled with the appealing price point of $30.99, sealed the deal. I was both excited and cautiously optimistic. Could this string finally put an end to my crossbow string woes?
