Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case Review

The Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case Made a Bold First Impression

As someone who’s lugged rifles through thick and thin for over a decade, I’ve seen rifle cases evolve from simple canvas sleeves to heavily armored fortresses. The Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case immediately caught my eye with its promise of tactical functionality at an accessible price point. My primary need was a reliable, yet affordable, case for transporting my AR-15 to the range and back, without screaming “expensive firearm inside” to the casual observer.

Upon unboxing, I was pleasantly surprised by the case’s rugged appearance. The Endura fabric felt substantial, and the overall construction seemed solid for the price. It certainly wasn’t a Pelican Vault, but it looked significantly better than the flimsy, generic cases I’d seen at similar price points. My initial thought was: this might just be the budget-friendly option I’ve been searching for.

I considered the Savior Equipment American Classic Tactical Double Rifle Bag, but it was overkill for my needs since I only carry one rifle at a time. I also looked at the Plano All Weather Tactical Gun Case, but preferred the softer-sided design of the Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case for ease of storage. Ultimately, the Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case struck the perfect balance of functionality, affordability, and a low-profile aesthetic.

I was cautiously optimistic. The features looked good on paper, but the real test would be how it performed in the field. Could the Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case withstand the rigors of regular use and still protect my firearm?

Real-World Testing: Putting Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case to the Test

First Use Experience

My first outing with the Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case was to my local outdoor shooting range. I needed to transport my AR-15 with a red dot sight, four magazines, and some basic cleaning supplies. The case handled the load with ease. I even managed to comfortably fit a small pistol cleaning kit in one of the external zip pockets.

The weather was mild, but the ground was a bit dusty. The Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case did a decent job of keeping the dust out, thanks to the full-length zipper. Loading and unloading the rifle was straightforward, and the magazine pouches were a perfect fit for my standard AR-15 magazines. No time was needed to adjust to the case. It’s a simple design that works well.

There were no significant issues on my first trip. However, I noticed that the zipper, while functional, didn’t feel as robust as those found on higher-end cases. I made a mental note to handle it with care.

Extended Use & Reliability

After three months of weekly trips to the range, the Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case has held up remarkably well, considering its price point. There are no rips or tears in the Endura fabric, and the stitching remains intact. The soft knit lining has done a good job of protecting my rifle’s finish from scratches and scuffs.

The most significant wear and tear is on the zipper, which is now slightly stiffer than when I first bought the case. However, it still functions reliably. I occasionally wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth to remove dirt and grime, and I’ve vacuumed the interior a few times to remove any accumulated dust. Maintenance is straightforward.

Compared to a previous, unbranded soft case I used, the Allen Pride Six Combat Tactical 32″ Rifle Black Endura Case is a significant improvement. It offers better protection, more storage, and a more tactical appearance. It doesn’t outperform a high-end hard case, but it delivers exceptional value for the price.
