In the pursuit of accuracy, whether on the range or in the field, even the slightest cant can throw off a shot. That’s where the Brite Site Hands Free Level comes in, promising a simple yet effective solution for ensuring your sight is perfectly aligned. Manufactured by Brite Site, this compact device fastens to your sight bar, granting hands-free leveling adjustments. This looked like a game changer for me, eliminating the need to constantly fiddle with bubble levels while trying to maintain a stable shooting position.
For years, I’ve struggled with inconsistent groupings, often attributable to subtle canting of my bow or rifle. Existing solutions, like traditional bubble levels, required constant monitoring, diverting my attention from the target. Upon unboxing, the Brite Site Hands Free Level impressed me with its minimalist design and robust feel. The materials seemed durable, suggesting it could withstand the rigors of outdoor use. The small size was also a major plus; I wanted something that wouldn’t add significant bulk to my setup.
I considered a few other leveling systems, including those integrated directly into the sight. However, the Brite Site Hands Free Level stood out for its simplicity and versatility. It promised compatibility with my existing sight and didn’t require expensive modifications.
My initial impression was one of cautious optimism. I was eager to see if this small device could truly deliver on its promise of hands-free leveling and improved accuracy. At a price of $22.99, the Brite Site Hands Free Level seemed like a low-risk investment with potentially high rewards.

The initial conditions were slightly windy, adding an extra challenge to maintaining a stable shot. However, the Brite Site Hands Free Level held its own, allowing me to quickly compensate for any cant caused by the wind. The level remained clear and easy to read, even in the fluctuating light conditions of the outdoor range.
The learning curve was surprisingly minimal. After a few practice shots, I quickly got the hang of making fine adjustments to the level. There were no significant issues or surprises during this first use; the Brite Site Hands Free Level performed exactly as advertised.
