The Night Fision Perfect Dot for CZ P-07, P-09 Tritium Handgun Sights Made a Bold First Impression
As an outdoor and tactical gear specialist with over a decade under my belt, I’ve seen a lot of handgun sights come and go. But the Night Fision Perfect Dot for CZ P-07, P-09 Tritium Handgun Sights immediately caught my eye with its promise of enhanced visibility and robust construction. The Night Fision brand itself has garnered respect in the shooting community for its commitment to quality and innovation, and these sights seemed to be another step in that direction.
For years, I’ve struggled with inconsistent sight visibility, particularly in low-light situations or against cluttered backgrounds. My aging eyes needed a solution that provided clear, bright aiming points without sacrificing durability. I needed sights that could withstand the rigors of daily carry and the demands of training.
The Night Fision Perfect Dot sights arrived in a no-nonsense package, reflecting the company’s focus on functionality over flashy marketing. The first thing I noticed was the robust feel of the sights, suggesting a build quality that would hold up to the CZ P-07’s and P-09’s recoil. The tritium vials glowed reassuringly even in dim light, promising excellent nighttime visibility.
I considered other tritium sights from Trijicon and Meprolight. However, the Night Fision sights’ combination of a bright, bold daytime outline and tritium illumination swayed my decision. The price point, at $97.20, also felt competitive compared to other premium sight options.
My initial impression was overwhelmingly positive; these sights seemed to offer a perfect blend of visibility, durability, and value. My anticipation grew to get them installed on my CZ P-07 and see how they performed in the real world.

First Use Experience
I first tested the Night Fision Perfect Dot sights at my local outdoor shooting range on a typically overcast Pacific Northwest day. The range offered a variety of target distances and shooting scenarios, giving me a chance to evaluate the sights in different lighting conditions. I started at the 7-yard line and gradually moved back to 25 yards.
The enhanced visibility of the front sight was immediately apparent, even against the relatively bright overcast sky. The bright orange outline surrounding the tritium vial drew my eye quickly to the front sight, allowing for fast target acquisition. The sights performed admirably in the damp conditions, not becoming obscured by rain or dirt.
The transition from daylight to the indoor portion of the range revealed the true strength of the tritium illumination. The sights glowed steadily and brightly, providing a clear aiming point in near-darkness. I experienced no issues with installation, though I recommend professional installation unless you are very comfortable with firearm maintenance.
