The Night Fision Perfect Dot Student of the Gun Accur8 Set for Glock Tritium Handgun Sights Made a Bold First Impression
As an outdoor and tactical gear specialist with over a decade of experience, I’ve seen my fair share of handgun sights. I’ve learned that clear, reliable sights are crucial for both everyday carry and tactical situations. After years of using various iron sights and experimenting with different brands, I was eager to try the Night Fision Perfect Dot Student of the Gun Accur8 Set for Glock Tritium Handgun Sights.
My biggest problem was target acquisition in low-light scenarios. Factory Glock sights are decent in daylight, but quickly become useless as the sun goes down. I needed a set of sights that provided consistent visibility day and night, enhancing my confidence and accuracy regardless of the lighting conditions.
The unboxing experience was straightforward, the sights were neatly packaged and appeared well-made. The materials felt robust, giving me confidence in their durability right from the start. My initial impression was that Night Fision had focused on a practical and effective design, prioritizing functionality over unnecessary aesthetics.
I considered other tritium sight options from Trijicon and Ameriglo, both reputable brands. However, the Night Fision sights caught my eye because of their advertised enhanced daytime visibility and the association with “Student of the Gun,” suggesting a focus on practical application and training. Ultimately, the combination of features and price point made the Night Fision set the more appealing choice. I was excited to see if they lived up to the hype.

Extended Use & Reliability
After several months of consistent use, the Night Fision sights have held up exceptionally well. There are no signs of wear and tear, even after repeated holster draws and exposure to various weather conditions. Cleaning is simple, a quick wipe with a cloth is all that’s needed to remove any residue.
These sights have greatly outperformed my expectations. The enhanced visibility and durable construction have made them a reliable addition to my everyday carry Glock. My previous experiences with other aftermarket sights didn’t provide the same level of confidence and consistent performance.
