The Meprolight Tru-Dot Night Sights For Glock 20 21 Gr/Gr Made a Bold First Impression
For years, I’ve trusted my Glock 20 and 21 for everything from backcountry protection against wildlife to peace of mind during late-night range sessions. However, the factory sights always felt like a limiting factor, especially when visibility was poor. When I saw the Meprolight Tru-Dot Night Sights For Glock 20 21 Gr/Gr, promising enhanced visibility in low-light conditions, I knew I had to try them.
I needed sights that could provide a clear and consistent sight picture in any lighting conditions, without compromising the reliability I expect from my Glocks. The promise of self-illuminated tritium vials was incredibly appealing.
Unboxing the sights, I immediately noticed the solid, robust construction. They felt significantly more substantial than the polymer factory sights I was replacing. The green tritium dots were visible even in daylight, hinting at their performance in darkness. I had high hopes.
I considered options from Trijicon and Ameriglo, but Meprolight‘s reputation for quality tritium sights, combined with the competitive price point of $89.99, ultimately swayed my decision. I was looking for reliable performance without breaking the bank, and Meprolight seemed to offer the perfect balance.
My first impression was one of cautious optimism. They looked great, felt solid, and the tritium illumination was promising. Only real-world testing would reveal if they lived up to the hype.
