My search for a Level III holster began after a close call on patrol where a suspect attempted to disarm me. The plain black finish is professional and understated. The holster felt solid and well-made, inspiring confidence in its ability to withstand the rigors of daily duty.
Compared to the Blackhawk Serpa Level 3 and the Bianchi Accumold Elite 7906, the Safariland 6360 ALS Level III w/ Ride UBL Holster – Plain Black, Right Hand 6360-295-61 stood out due to its ALS mechanism. My initial impression was one of guarded excitement. I was eager to test the holster in a real-world environment, but also mindful of the potential learning curve associated with a new retention system. I was hoping the holster would deliver on its promise of security and speed.
